The Tokens, a creative agency specializing in blockchain technology and cryptocurrency ventures, sought a "brand lite" solution encompassing a distinct color palette, logo, and website to captivate potential clients.
Recognising the prevalent outdated design trends reminiscent of the early 2000s within the crypto industry, it was crucial for The Tokens to stand out as tastemakers while also demonstrating their unique grasp of the industry's requirements.Drawing inspiration from the concept of coins and tokens, inherently linked to cryptocurrency, I crafted a straightforward animated logo featuring a literal coin.
For the agency's website, I implemented negative space and viewport scroll snap techniques to encourage users to pause and contemplate each piece of work and its accompanying rationale. This approach provided the work with the ideal space to shine.
Additionally, I designed a series of simple GIF animations for social media use, blending a contemporary aesthetic with subtle nods to the traditional design principles prevalent in the cryptocurrency space.
