The Tokens is a creative agency focused on blockchain technology and cryptocurrency ventures. They required a "brand lite" - a colour palette, logo and site to show prospective clients.
The crypto space is rife with poorly executed, early-2000s era design, so it was important The Tokens stood out as tastemakers, but also as an agency uniquely placed to understand the industry's needs.
With the name a reference to coins or tokens (essentially cryptocurency), I created a simple animated logo using a literal coin.
I built the agency site using Webflow. Utilising negative space and viewport scroll snap, I wanted the user to have to stop and consider each piece of work and accompanying rationale, and give the work the space to really shine.
I also created several simple gif animations, for use on social media.
